The 2018 is a riper vintage (12% alcohol vs the 11% in the ’17), with even more flesh to accompany its present but more buried 8 g/L acidity. Luisja said that the ’18 is a vintage that will commercially be more popular, if not as much of a “purist’s” example, as its fleshiness and fuller texture is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
