Description
This is a cuvée that has undergone a substantial qualitative lift over the past few years, with this year’s 2019 base being WOW WOW good to my taste; as always, it is a blend of 60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Noir. Not only are the insides wonderfully vinous and intense in a wonderfully harmonious and gourmand style, but the packaging has also changed, now with the same impressionisty flower portrait label à la the Blanc de blancs and the Rosé de Meunier. As a value play, I can’t recommend this highly enough, as this is seriously good, its balance between textural richness and cut being wonderfully inviting and easy.
