Description
An unfortunate return to a challenging year of incredibly small yields, his 2022 is qualitatively excellent, although tiny tiny at just some 165 cases produced in total. The tiny crop ripened very very well by the end of things, as Luisja achieved lowish yields that were right around 12% natural alcohol, with well integrated acidity of around the mid 8 g/L. Luisja said that it reminds him of a vintage like 2018, but with greater depth of flavor due to the much smaller yields (more dry extract….). For fans of Urkizahar, it’s time to dig in….for those of you not yet familiar, trust me and check it out. You too will likely be a fan for life…..
