$59.00

The Longeroies exhibits an ever darker fruit profile both aromatically and in the mouth, with a sense of succulent immediacy that is very charming and easy to love. It has good energy to accompany such fleshiness, with light but fine tannic grip lending shape. This will be a crowd pleaser and then some….

“Soaring from the glass with aromas of raspberries, plums, rose petals, violets and spices, the 2019 Marsannay Les Longeroies is medium to full-bodied, layered and perfumed, with lively acids, velvety tannins and a long, perfumed finish. This is one of the most sensual, elegant renditions of Les Longeroies that I’ve tasted from Audoin.” 91-93 William Kelley

“(from both the upper and lower climats). Touches of herbal tea, earth, the sauvage and a hint of spice add very nice range to the cool aromas of red cherry, red currant and discreet floral wisps. The rich, vibrant and well-detailed flavors possess excellent depth and even better persistence on the firmly structured finish where the only nit is a hint of warmth. (91-93)/2027+” Allen Meadows ————> thingy, meaning, “particularly outstanding for their respective appellations and especially merit your attention”.

“(from both the upper and lower climats). This is aromatically similar to the Clos du Roy but with touches of plum and spice. The super-sleek, intense and velvet-textured medium-bodied flavors aren’t quite as austere while displaying a similar level of minerality on the lingering finale that isn’t quite as complex, though that of course may well change with cellar time.
