This has also been a stalwart presence in my tenure representing their wines, its quality always well punching well above its station in both its purity and precision. This is as good of a gutswein (entry wine) as they come which again is a case buy no brainer if dry and improbably delicious everyday Riesling is something that interests you……My note on the ’21 : “Absolutely delicious….yellow fruited, crystalline, super pure, and linear. The flavors have such focus, intensity, and length….this is a remarkably good value, once again….”. A little * awarded here. Piggott regularly gives it a most superlative review/score for a humble gutswein.
“A whole spectrum of yellow and citrus fruit, plus fresh pineapple and star fruit pours from the glass of this irresistible dry riesling that is so joyful and juicy, yet it remains very elegant. Very long, filigree finish for a wine of this humble category. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap.” 93 Stuart Piggott for the 2020, NOT THE 2021 OFFERED HERE
