Description

“bright, dark robe. The nose is reserved, but there are floral, red fruit tones, promise, a gentle simplicity. The palate gives an overtly fruited, accessible Cornas, holds enjoyable fruit that is soft and tasty, the tannins very mild. It’s a good drinking, w.o.w. Cornas, a rare bird in the past, but less so these days. It will show well young, has a gentle aromatic quality. “It was more hard, but has refined, and is now on fruit; I think it will stay quite facile as a wine,” Vincent Paris. 13.5°. 2035-37 June 2021″ 3.5 stars John Livingstone Learmonth

“Mineral-driven aromas of ripe black/blue fruits, peony, olive and exotic spices on the nose. Sappy and focused on the palate, offering gently sweet, mineral-kissed cherry and blueberry flavors that deepen slowly with air and show sharp delineation. The blue fruit note drives an impressively long, spicy finish that’s given subtle grip by fine-grained, even tannins.” 92-94 Josh Raynolds for the 2019, NOT THE 2020 OFFERED HERE
