Description

I’ve always been a big fan of Chevrets since first encountering it in Nico Rossignol’s stable.  Vincent has made an outstanding bottle of Chevrets for a second straight year, and fans of great Volnay as well as Vincent’s house style should get some while the gettin’ is good.  This is terribly complete in its depth, spice, minerality, intensity of violet florals, and structured yet silky texture.  Get some and thank me later, a little * awarded here.
“An attractively spicy nose features pretty aromas of poached plum, black cherry liqueur and soft floral wisps, and in particular, violet. There is excellent vibrancy and cut to the lacy but punchy, sleek and mineral-driven flavors that display first-rate persistence on the balanced and youthfully austere finale. This is really very good and well-worth your consideration. 93/2030+” Allen Meadows  ————> “particularly outstanding for their respective appellations and especially merit your attention”  for the 2020, NOT THE 2021 OFFERED HERE
