This is a real rarity, from a few tiny morsels of 1er cru vineyards that adjoin the town itself, aptly named le Village. My note: “Wow. Soooo pretty, delicate, pale. Holy cow this is gorgeous…..” Marc-Olivier tells me that it is always the palest and delicate of the 1er crus, and now I can very much see it for myself……a little * awarded here.

There is excellent delineation to the borderline painfully intense middleweight flavors that also conclude in a compact, moderately firm and youthfully austere finale.
