Description
I have had dozens of people report back how impressed they are with this little wine, 100% Gamay Noir that drinks with wonderful poise and precision, as well as gourmandise. This is an exceptional every day bistro value….which is why Learmonth often awards it with his WOW designation (What One Wants) for exceptional everyday value and refreshment…..
“Fine, pale red; has a springy, appealing nose, airborne red berry fruit, smoky notes, gunflint circulating. The palate has an iron thread all through, is good and naked, very clear and running, carries vegetal notes within that add perkiness. This is super easy to drink, a primo w.o.w. wine, very pretty, crystalline. Drink it young. 12.5°. Bottled April 2021. To 2024 July 2021” 4 Stars John Livingstone Learmonth for the 2020, NOT THE 2021 OFFERED HERE
“(aged in stainless steel tanks for six months) Bright magenta. Fresh and energetic on the nose, displaying intense red berry and lavender scents and a hint of smoky minerality. Juicy, focused and light on its feet, offering zesty raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that turn sweeter as the wine opens up. Shows very good clarity and stony cut on the finish, which is firmed by subtle, fine-grained tannins.” 90 Josh Raynolds for the 2015, NOT THE 2021 OFFERED HERE.
