Description
Always a rockhead pet favorite of mine, from the upper slope portion ABOVE the Pouilly Fuissé (soon to be 1er cru…) portion of the vineyard. Regularly as good as it gets for the money, to my taste….
“(this vineyard abuts the Pouilly-Fuissé vineyard of La Roche). A deft application of wood is present on the ripe aromas of poached pear, white flower and discreet anise hints. The texture of the medium-bodied flavors is finer while offering a refreshing salinity on the lingering finale that is supported by brighter and firmer acidity. This too possesses very good quality in the context of the appellation.
