My 2017 note: From the aromatics alone, it is immediately evident that we have a wine grown higher on the hillside, with more chalky/salty matière calcaire (limestone stuffing). The dynamism between fruit succulence and minerality is more complex here. A very nice everyday option.
“A mildly reduced nose masks the underlying fruit though there is good freshness to the caressing, rich and round medium weight flavors that are also supported by citrus-tinged acidity on the slightly more complex finale. This wellmade effort should drink well on the earlier side and offers solid quality for the appellation. (87-90)/2023+” Allen Meadows
