From a massive 1.30 hectare parcel in the heart of les Charmes, principally from older 60-70 year old vines with marginally less topsoil than les Plantes, on zee motherock. This is somewhat of a flagship for the estate, and a great one at that. Classic les Charmes is always both rich, broad, yet remarkably lithe with that mineral underpinning animating it all with driving depth.
