Their large 1.1 hectare parcel of Brouillards is quite simply as good as it gets, from 70+ year old vines. Just as Allan’s note portends, this is classic!! A vertical of Brouillards ’17-’18-’19, anyone???
This year’s Brouillards included 15-20% whole cluster, fwiw…..
“(from a 1.10 ha holding). A mentholated top note can be found on the ripe yet cool essence of red currant and soft earth and spice wisps. The seductively suave, round and caressing medium-bodied flavors are plump and generously proportioned while retaining a refreshingly saline finish that is sufficiently firm to suggest a 10 to 12-year aging curve.
