“Bright red. Sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla) complement dark red and black cherry aromas on the fresh, sexy nose. Enters lively, juicy, and sweet but with a tactile mouthfeel and savory flavors of red cherry, herbs and sassafras. Nicely persistent on the youthfully chewy finish that highlights noteworthy but polished oaky nuances. A real note of merit is this wine’s balance; it clocks in at 14.3% alcohol, but you’d never guess this had so many octanes.
