My note: I found this to have its more typical “colder”, deep, old compact limestone aromatics (vs the tropical impressions from Meadows below), with a nice white floral and cool aspect au nez. En bouche it had a nice sense of harmony. Again, pretty good.
“Here too there is a phenolic note on the very ripe and mildly tropical nose of lychee, white peach, dried apricot and mango. The succulent, indeed lavishly rich flavors coat the mouth the dry extract that also buffers the acceptably firm acid spine that manages to maintain the balance on the bitter lemon-inflected finish. This very forward effort should drink well basically upon release. (88-91)/2020+” Allan Meadows
