My note: We change register of complexity in a fashion that marks the arrival to the Pouilly Fuissé level of quality. In the mouth, this is wonderfully classy, with a rich, mouth filling density and gentle, cloud-like sense of attack, with solid levels of floral/mineral interplay that have nice length. Every year, this offers silly good value, which it does once again…..
“(from three vineyards located in Vergisson and Fuissé). A markedly ripe nose displays mostly notes of pear-liqueur, citrus skin and floral nuances that exhibit a background hint of phenolic character (think olive oil). The dense, opulent and once again exceptionally rich middle weight flavors coat the mouth with sappy dry extract on the ever-so-slightly warm but nicely persistent finale. (89-91)/2021+” Allan Meadows
