“A discreet application of wood sets off the herbal tea and floral-inflected red currant scanted nose. I like the sense of energy and volume to the relatively refined and stony medium-bodied flavors that offer good length on the balanced finish. “Fleshy and charming, the 2017 Marsannay Les Longeroies bursts with aromas of minty blackberries, cherries, currant leaf and dark chocolate. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, ample and generous, with a flavorful core of fruit and fine structuring tannins. This is one cuvée that will be hard to resist in its youth.” 89-91 William Kelley
