The smallest production of their Späts is always the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, from very well placed and very old vines adjacent to the sundial itself. “Another register of aromatic complexity here, with very good, dancing mineral/cool stone fruit/white floral interplay. All about finesse, and just plain lovely….WOW.” When I circled back to taste this a second time, it was absolutely stunning, its mineral component even more pronounced, and the overall complexity even more compelling. This is an absolute knockout. A little * awarded here.
