And with this next wine, I pretty much lost my mind. HOLY SHIT! Stop you in your tracks aromatics of dazzling complexity and subtlety, leading to tremendous power of saliva inducing salty mineral intensity that paradoxically explosively and weightlessly dances on the palate, with a tremendous sense of length and purity. The sense of dry extract here is off the charts. This is about as compelling of an Auslese I have ever tasted, a time capsule example for the ages. I asked for all that I could possibly have…..again, we will have to see what they can offer us! Get every drop that you can possibly justify and thank me later…I can only imagine what giddy delight waits in store for those of us willing and able to lay some of these away, not that you have to wait when it tastes so deliriously good in youth, but…!! I think that the wine is even better than the WFW review suggests, with some of the most explosive minerality in the entire range. I will never forget tasting this nectar of the gods….!!!
