Similarly to the Niersteiner trocken, the ortswein from the Rothenberg is like a baby 1er cru version of its GG sibling, with even less distance between them. This has more elegant, floral, and complex aromas than the Niersteiner, then with a thunderclap of minerality that is absolutely palate drenching. This is sicko good, and I insisted on bringing it in, yet another Down to Earth exclusive. Dry wines lovers, get 3-6-12 of these and thank me later!!!
