Here is John Gilman’s review:
“The inaugural vintage of Schloss Lieser’s new association with the Wehlener Sonnenuhr has produced a simply beautiful Kabinett. The wine offers up an utterly classic bouquet of apple, pear, wild yeasts, vanilla bean, grey slate tones and a topnote of apple blossoms. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, pure and primary, with lovely mid-palate depth, ripe, crisp acids and a long, filigreed and nascently complex finish. Beautiful wine. 2019-2040. 93+.”
