On the day I tasted it last November, their Suchots was plain smokin’ good. A terrific example to display the signature elements of great Suchots: of denser succulent sexy fruitiness, backed by well shaping and driving minerality/acidity. Suchots can be one of the most generous, “easy to understand” examples of Burgundian Beauty à la Vosne Romanée, especially when it has the kind of depth of 70+ year old vine mineral material to bring tension and complexity to the fleshiness.
