My first impression: “CLASS!” The iconic Heisse Wanne bottling is from the steep terraces at the upper limits of the Kessler, plowed by horse no less. It is always richer than the regular Kessler, this richness enrobing the intense mineral dry extract, leaving an impression of creeping delicacy and elegance vs raw explosiveness. This is somewhat of a flagship of the estate that screams pure class in a glass. The ’13 has even higher acidity than the ’14, for what it is worth. A few little * here….
