“Recommended source” 1 of 4 from Clive Coates. From the lower laying Boudriottes parcel, this is denser and richer than the Clos Saint Jean, with good back end minerality and a bit more savory. Again, the pretty red fruited character here will charm one and all, and will age wonderfully on its balance. Classic Boudriottes.
“A beguilingly fresh nose features a lovely mélange of red berry fruit, lavender, spice and an abundance of earth aromas that are trimmed in enough wood to warrant noting. There is fine volume and midpalate concentration that adds texture to the lightly mineral-infused flavors that deliver solid length. This is not especially refined but I very much like the richness and overall complexity. (89-91)/2020+” Allan Meadows
