Here is Ian d””Agata””s review of the 2010:
“Pale, green-tinged color. Intense aromas of yellow peach, lichee and sweet spices, with a hint of varnish that made me think of noble rot. Then almost fat in the mouth, with a round texture and flavors of apricot, quince and pear lifted by sound acidity. Finishes floral and very long, with a combination of residual sweetness and acidity that makes this taste more like a Sp a tlese than a Kabinett. Riesling is not an Italian specialty, though plantings of it have increased greatly in the last few years as more and more producers want to try their hand at it. Pacherhof””s 2010 is one of the best I have ever tasted from Italy.” 90 points
