Dirler Cadé tasting notes: “Nestled in the heart of the Grand Cru, the Heisse Wanne parcel gives this wine its flinty nuances, flowers, with a very deep minerality and an incomparable finesse. A terrific success that fully displays its magnificent terroir.”
– 17 g/l residual sugar – Food pairings: grilled langoustines with herbs
“Bright straw-green. Intense, very pure nose of lime, menthol, chlorophyll, pine needles and ripe tropical fruits showcases elements of surmaturité that are typical of the sun-drenched, very warm Heisse Wanne. Quite sweet and sugary but sound acidity keeps the wine light, lively and nicely balanced. A step up in depth over the regular Kessler, which by comparison seems much more taut and linear.” 93 points Ian d’Agata
