From very very old vines, this has awesome depth and finesse….
“An intensely earthy and overtly sauvage nose that is very Gevrey in basic character displays notes of somber and cool wild red and dark currant aromas. There is outstanding intensity to the firm and muscular middle weight flavors that exude a very fine minerality on the long, mouth coating and beautifully persistent finish. A Gevrey 1er of power and harmony that is quite compact at the moment and will need at least 5 to 7 years of cellar time to further flesh out. 92/2022+” Allan Meadows”
