One of the best Bourgogne rouge wines made in Burgundy, to my taste.
Here is the Burghound review:
“(from 40+ year old vines that were once classified as Volnay villages). There is an interesting smoky character to the earthy red berry fruit aromas that can also be found on the light to barely middle weight flavors that possess a beguiling mouth feel before terminating in a detailed and utterly delicious finish. As it almost always does, this boxes well above its weight and knocks on the door of villages level quality. (86-89)/2016+”
