No press yet on the 2010, here is Parker’s review of the 2009:
“An absolute revelation as well as an incredible sleeper of the vintage is the 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Cairanne Haut Coustias Blanc, a blend of 40% Marsanne, 40% Roussanne and 20% Clairette aged in demi-muids. Behaving like a sensational white Hermitage, it possesses a medium gold color and aromas of honeysuckle, candle wax, rose petals and exotic tropical fruit. Full-bodied and dense with decent acidity as well as an unctuous texture, this is a nearly over the top dry white that can be matched with relatively intense dishes. Enjoy it over the next several years.
Probably the reference point for high quality Cairanne, this excellent estate has received many fine reviews from me in the past” 92 points
